Silco Bar & Kitchen

A space where drinks & people mix

At Silco, we created a social space where drinks and food arrive as equals.

Where there’s a drink in one hand and a fork in the other.

Where flavours become fun again.

Where conversation is easy and friendships are forged.

Where we create the setting, and you enjoy the experience.

In our bar & kitchen, nothing is rushed and everything is made from scratch. We use local ingredients that are free range and ethically sourced from suppliers we know and trust – fresh-caught fish from the sea outside our window, meats from nearby farms, seasonal veg that grows here in the UK.

Open every day 12-10

Food served 12-9

How can I book for a large booking?

During peak season we don’t take reservations for tables over 6 people. We have a very small kitchen and very small team and as such we are unable to serve larger tables efficiently alongside our other bookings. During the quieter months please drop us an email and we will do our best to accommodate you.

I would like to book a table but there is nothing available online?

We open our bookings 3 months in advance, so if you are trying to book with further notice please check back again within 3 months of the date you are interested in.

Do you allow walk-ins?

We do allow walk ins if there are free tables. In the busier months we do advice making a booking to guarantee yourselves a table.

Are you open all year?

We close at the beginning of January for a few weeks, other than we are open all year round.

 Do you have parking?

Unfortunately, we don’t have any parking at Silco Bar & Kitchen. There is however lots of public car parks nearby and we are just a short walk from the bus and train stations.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

We are working on it. Please sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know when they launch.

Silco Bar & Kitchen Reviews

5 stars doesn't do this place justice... Incredible sharing plates with loads of unique flavors in each one. The crab fries and lentil fritters were our favorites.

The best meal we had on our trip to Cornwall by far. Everything was delicious, in particular the fish curry, naan and lamb. A beautiful setting and great service - I’ve never left a review before but this place was so good we just had to share it!

Hannah Campling

Fresh, tasty grub and immaculate vibes with lovely staff and good tunes

A culinary delight. We have visited twice this week just so we could try even more of this very tasty food. Really enjoyed every moment. Welcoming, friendly service from start to finish, great view of the harbour and great ambiance.

Oh my word! The best food I have ever had by a mile! The flavours are unbelievable, location overlooking St Ives bay, staff amazing. Of course it’s not the cheapest, but this is beyond just food. It’s an experience.

An unbeatable location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, abundance of flavours. What more can I say? Oh yes - my husband a has been holidaying in Cornwall all his life and says Silco is the best restaurant/bar he has EVER been to down here. I have never seen him eat so much!!

Nicola Tait

An absolute gem of a discovery. Globe-trotting snacks and small plates from the Middle East through to Asia, all executed to perfection. Two visits in two days.....what more can I say?

Had an absolutely delicious dinner at Slico in St Ives today. So many different small dishes to try… and everything we tried were absolutely delicious! And must mention the customer service was the best! Thank you so much for a lovely time!

The best and freshest whitebait I have had. The tamarind fish curry was incredible; I can't even describe the perfect blend of flavours and textures. I was in St Ives for just two days and ate here twice! Amazing and inventive cocktails too. I recommend the Skidden Hill!

Laura

Magnificent food. Absolutely loved it. Recommend the fritters and the halloumi especially. Giving Ottolenghi vibes. 10/10

Natalie

Phenomenal dining experience. Relaxed atmosphere and the best food we have had in years. Highly recommended!

"A recent addition to Cornwall’s food scene, SILCo has become a go-to spot for great food, drinks and views. Located in a prime spot overlooking the harbour in the centre of bustling St Ives, the restaurant’s interiors are cool and sophisticated, enjoying a calming palette of pastel pinks and beachy beiges. Offering an array of flavourful, internationally-inspired small plates, the menu includes the likes of Singapore crab fries, Katsu chicken, tamarind and coconut fish curry and Sri Lankan lentil fritters. When the sun is shining, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better way to spend the day than outside on one of the al fresco tables, frozen cocktail in hand."
